In a quaint location, this historic house is an ideal spot for travelers looking to experience old-world Italian charm. the eclectic and antique furnishings retain the original character of the room, while the modern bathroom is clean and functional. With a large citrus collection in the garden, the dining room serves an excellent Italian-style breakfast with a peaceful view. the welcoming host speaks English and is knowledgeable of local history. Although there is no lift, guests enjoy all necessary amenities, including towels, hairdryer, and bath cosmetics. the only drawback may be limited accessibility for those with mobility issues.

We loved this historic hotel with an eclectic style. The room was sympathetically renovated and had original character. The bathroom was modern, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. The breakfast in the old-world dining room was amazing with a great view of the garden and refreshing citrus collection. The staff was friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and spoke perfect English.

the breakfast was wholesome and included a variety of options from pastries to cereals and fruits. the rooms were very well kept and cozy with all the necessary amenities. the location of the hotel was very convenient with key places in the city at a walking distance. We also enjoyed the friendly staff who were always ready to help.

The hotel lacked accessibility features like an elevator or ramp for people with mobility issues. This made it a bit difficult for us to move around with our luggage.

We spent our Easter holiday in a charming historic house that made us feel like we were in Italy a hundred years ago. The room was beautifully renovated with a modern bathroom and retained its original character. The breakfast was served in a large old-world dining room with stunning views into the garden. The host was very welcoming and knowledgeable, and we left feeling like we were personal friends.

While we enjoyed the historic character of the building, some might find the lack of a lift inconvenient if they cannot use stairs. the eclectic style may not be to everyone's taste as it mixes antiques with Chinese paintings and porcelain items.
